I personally know of several people that think the Betta should only live in a small tank not much bigger than the cup it came home in! If only these people would educate themselves on the care of the Betta fish. A good book would go a long way for them. If you are thinking about getting or receiving a live animal be it fish, mammal or bird please get a good source of information. Try to get several views on the animal's treatment and care before you decide on which one will work best for you.
