Your first goldfish

Most children are introduced to fish when they usually get their first goldfish. Years ago the goldfish were sometimes prizes in carnival games. Most places have outlawed that practise now as animal abuse. Many of the goldfish did not survive the day after being won at the games. This was due to children's lack of understanding what the needs of the goldfish were.
